The Hulu schedule for December 2023 has been revealed and includes something for everyone in the family over the holiday season. The streaming service has also revealed the titles that will be leaving next month.
The Hulu line-up includes such Originals as Culprits Season 1, Maestra, Moving, Dragons: The Nine Realms Season 8, Such Brave Girls, Dragons of Wonderhatch, Letterkenny Season 12, Raffa, and more.

DECEMBER HIGHLIGHTS
One Piece: Complete Season 11 (DUBBED – Streaming December 1)
Monkey D. Luffy refuses to let anyone or anything stand in the way of his quest to become king of all pirates. With a course charted for the treacherous waters of the Grand Line, this is one captain who’ll never drop anchor until he’s claimed the greatest treasure on Earth – the Legendary One Piece!
We Live Here: The Midwest: Documentary Premiere (Hulu Original – Streaming December 6)
All families must confront challenges, every day. But many also face a rising tide of discrimination and hate in their churches, schools, and even their own neighborhoods. “We Live Here: The Midwest” profiles families who hope to stay in a part of the country they love, and where they have often established deep roots.
A trans/queer family with five children in Iowa must find a new community after being expelled from their church; a gay Black couple with a young daughter test the line of acceptance in Nebraska; a lesbian couple homeschool their bullied son on a farm in Kansas; a gay teacher in Ohio creates a safe space for LGBTQI+ students; and a couple in Minnesota struggles to rebuild their families following both of their transitions.
Meanwhile, Minnesota Representative and queer mother, Heather Keeler, brings LGBTQI+ rights to the political forefront despite ongoing death threats. Fundamentally, the film captures a crucial time where anti-queer legislation and sentiment is rapidly multiplying across the country, and the values of all midwestern families are put to the ultimate test.
A Historia Delas: Complete Season 1 (Hulu Original – Streaming December 6)
Isabel learns that her husband used her as a front person in a corruption scheme and has to serve house arrest with her daughter at her former housekeeper Marta’s home. Marta now owns a small take-out business. Her daughter Ana Jasmim helps at the company and dreams of studying fashion.
Isabel’s arrival with her daughter Ana Rosa at Marta’s house creates tension in relationships and stirs up unresolved issues from the past. Forced coexistence makes mothers and daughters rethink their relationships and find new roles. Meanwhile, the house lives under the constant threat of a loan shark.
Culprits: Complete Season 1 (Hulu Original)
“Culprits” kicks off where most crime stories end: after a high-stakes heist, when the crew of elite criminals have gone their separate ways and have tried to leave their old lives behind. Past and present collide when a ruthless assassin starts targeting them one by one.
Why are they being stalked, who is behind the mayhem, and will they be able to find one another in time to protect themselves and the people they love?
The Mission: Special Premiere (Nat Geo – Streaming December 8)
American Christian missionary John Chau was killed when he tried to contact and convert some of the world’s last uncontacted indigenous peoples – The Sentinelese. Contradictory and divided reactions from the public and even within his own family reveal a deeper understanding of the real John Chau – a young man with an adventurous spirit and a singular obsession.
Through exclusive interviews, archival footage of John’s journey to North Sentinel and his detailed diaries, this film explores the antiquated notions of exploration that shaped him, the evangelical community that drove his quest, his own father’s heartbreak, and the lasting repercussions of this complex story.
Maestra: Series Premiere (Hulu Original – Streaming December 9)
After a famous violin prodigy makes a name for herself in New York as an Asian female conductor, she returns to Korea to lead the struggling Han River Philharmonic. Tasked with the seemingly impossible, Se-Eum’s job is made even more difficult when she faces opposition from some of the members of the orchestra.
Meet Me Under the Mistletoe (2023 – Streaming December 9)
Two rival realtors (Sarah Fisher and Simon Arblaster) are forced to work together to sell one special house, owned by a renowned botanist and mistletoe grower, before Christmas.
Science Fair: The Series: Series Premiere (Nat Geo – Streaming December 11)
Inspired by the Sundance Festival favorite and SXSW Audience Award-winning documentary directed by Cristina Costantini and Darren Foster, “Science Fair: The Series” showcases students working to solve the world’s most complex and pressing issues using science while competing for a coveted spot at the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF), the most competitive science fair on the planet.
The series follows competing students in their relentless pursuit of excellence as they tackle contemporary topics in various areas of science – teen suicide prevention, wound care monitoring systems, high efficiency alternatives to induction motors, and more.
The series also follows the families and teachers, including “Science Fair” fan-favorite Dr. Serena McCalla, as they support and push their students along the way. It’s an inspiring, character-driven coming-of-age story playing out on a global stage where students push themselves to the limit but never miss an opportunity to uplift one another.
Moving: Complete Season 1 (ENGLISH DUBS) (Hulu Original – Streaming December 13)
In the 1990s, South Korea’s National Security Planning Agency established a black ops team of superpowered individuals. Tasked with carrying out classified missions, members of this elite unit used their powers to defend the country and achieve the impossible on a daily basis.
Despite their successes, one day the team suddenly went dark, dispersing across the country, never to be heard from again. A few decades later, Bongseok, a boy who could float before he could walk, and Huisoo, a girl who survived a horrific car crash unscathed, end up at the same school, quickly becoming close after confiding their secrets in each other and discovering there are more people like them out in the world.

Dragons: The Nine Realms: Complete Season 8 (Hulu Original – Streaming December 14)
With the dangerous World Serpent Jörmungandr on the loose, Tom and the Dragon Riders must devise a strategy to protect the realms from the formidable dragon. Sledkin, in relentless pursuit of the Gods Realm and the Dragonsite gem, throws a wrench in their plans when she steals Plowhorn from the Riders.
Faced with the biggest challenge they’ve ever encountered, the team must recruit an army of dragons to fend off Jörmungandr and save the Hidden World.
Blue Jean (2022 – Streaming December 14)
In Georgia Oakley’s stunning directorial debut “Blue Jean,” it’s 1988 England and Margaret Thatcher’s Conservative government is about to pass a law stigmatizing gays and lesbians, forcing Jean (Rosy McEwen, in a powerhouse performance), a gym teacher, to live a double life. As pressure mounts from all sides, the arrival of a new student catalyzes a crisis that will challenge Jean to her core.
The BAFTA-nominated film won the Venice Film Festival’s People’s Choice Award, as well as four British Independent Film Awards.
Such Brave Girls: Complete Season 1 (Hulu Original – Streaming December 15)
Dysfunctional family sitcom following sisters Josie (Kat Sadler) and Billie (played by Kat’s real-life sister, Lizzie Davidson) and their single mother Deb (Louise Brealey) navigating life armed with nothing but poor judgment and self-esteem exclusively tied to people who couldn’t care less about them. They’re vain, selfish, heavily in debt, pathologically desperate for affection and bursting with misplaced, terrifying love. (Watch the new trailer)
Dragons of Wonderhatch: Two-Episode Series Premiere (Hulu Original – Streaming December 20)
“Dragons of Wonderhatch” follows Nagi, a girl in the “real world” who has spent her life feeling like she doesn’t belong. Dreaming of one day being able to fly, Nagi will come face to face with Thaim, another misfit from the animated world of Upananta who has long been made fun of for his inability to hear the voices of the dragons that inhabit his land.
With the floating islands of Upananta slowly beginning to fall from the sky, the two misfits will set off on an epic adventure spanning both live-action and animated worlds.
Woori the Virgin: Complete Season 1 (SUBBED – Streaming December 20)
Oh Woori (Im Soo Hyang) is the assistant writer of a popular drama series. She has vowed to remain a virgin until she marries, and has shied away from romantic relationships in a bid to remain chaste until she marries. She is dating the devoted police officer Lee Kang Jae (Shin Dong Wook).
But when she attends a routine medical exam, a terrible mixup takes place and she is accidentally artificially inseminated. She later discovers her pregnancy, and demands the hospital gets to the bottom of the case.
Eventually she discovers that the donor whose child she is now pregnant with is none other than the CEO of a notable cosmetics firm named Diamond Cosmetics. This CEO, named Raphael (Sung Hoon), is going through a messy divorce with his wife Lee Ma Ri (Hong Ji Yoon), a beautiful woman who does not want to split for her husband, chiefly for financial reasons.
But when Raphael learns he is to be a father, things get very complicated – particularly after her realizes that there is a secret past connection that links him to Oh Woori! This drama is a remake of the 2014 American drama series “Jane the Virgin,” which was loosely based on the 2002 Venezuelan drama “Juana la Virgen.”
Horimiya: Season 2 Premiere (DUBBED – Streaming December 21)
A secret life is the thing they have in common. Hori is a prim social butterfly, but at home she’s a bit brash. Meanwhile, under a gloomy facade, Miyamura hides a gentle heart, piercings, and tattoos. In a chance meeting, they reveal their hidden sides.
Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation: Season 2, Part 1 Premiere (DUBBED – Streaming December 22)
When a 34-year-old underachiever gets run over by a bus, his story doesn’t end there. Reincarnated as an infant, Rudy will use newfound courage, friends, and magical abilities to embark on an epic adventure!
Maggie Moore(s) (2023 – Streaming December 22)
“Maggie Moore(s)” is a wonderfully twisted dark comedy that takes the audience on an unexpected journey through a seemingly ordinary small desert town. In this quirky locale, a bizarre series of events unfold as two women who share the same name are murdered just days apart.
Police chief Jordan Sanders (Jon Hamm) is determined to solve the mystery of the murders while simultaneously grappling with the challenges of his tumultuous personal life. Tina Fey delivers a captivating, memorable performance as the nosy neighbor whose curiosity gets the better of her as she inadvertently becomes entangled with Hamm’s character.
Letterkenny: Complete 12th and Final Season (Hulu Original – Streaming December 26)
The residents of Letterkenny belong to one of three groups: the Hicks, the Skids, and the Hockey Players, who are constantly feuding over seemingly trivial matters that often end with someone getting their ass kicked. In Season 12, the small town contends with a comedy night at Modean’s, a country music hit, the Degens’ bad influence, a new nightclub, and an encore at the Ag Hall. And that’s just for starters.
The Devil is a Part-Timer!: Season 2, Part 2 Premiere (DUBBED – Streaming December 26)
Inches away from conquering the world, the devil is foiled by a hero and finds himself in modern-day Tokyo. With no real-world skills to speak of, the devil is forced to make ends meet flipping burgers at a fast food joint!
Raffa: Complete Docuseries (Hulu Original – Streaming December 27)
