-

Disney’s 20th Century Fox has released the international Stuber trailer today. Directed by Michael Dowse, the action comedy opens in theaters on July 12. You can view the Stuber trailer in the player below.

In the film, when a mild-mannered Uber driver named Stu (Kumail Nanjiani) picks up a passenger (Dave Bautista) who turns out to be a cop hot on the trail of a brutal killer, he’s thrust into a harrowing ordeal where he desperately tries to hold onto his wits, his life and his five-star rating.

Nanjiani is known for writing and starring in the Oscar-nominated film The Big Sick, which he wrote with his wife Emily V. Gordon and is loosely based on their life, and for starring in HBO’s Silicon Valley. He’s voicing the role of Pawney in the upcoming Men in Black: International. He is also known for Life As We Know It and Central Intelligence. Dave Bautista has played the role of Drax the Destroyer in the Guardians of the Galaxy films as well as other films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He also appeared in Blade Runner 2049 and Hotel Artemis.

Stuber also stars Iko Uwais, Natalie Morales, Betty Gilpin, Jimmy Tatro, Mira Sorvino and Karen Gillan. The film is produced by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley.
