Watch The Matrix 4 Neo and Trinity Scenes Being Filmed in SF

-

Filming for The Matrix 4 continued the last few days in San Francisco and fans have posted some awesome footage of Neo and Trinity scenes. Production in the city began earlier this month.

The first, impressive scene involved Neo and Trinity taking a leap from a building while holding hands, hovering for a bit and then flying up. Neo and Trinity are played by Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss, of course, though it’s hard to make out whether it’s actually them (most likely it’s stunt doubles).

Could Trinity actually be training Neo in this scene? What do you think is happening? Let us know your thoughts in the comments. Here’s three more videos of the filming from different angles.

Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss were also spotted filming a motorcycle chase scene and we’ve got videos of the shoot below!

The Matrix 4 filming began in the Bay Area on February 4th under the code name “Project Ice Cream.” Filming is also set to take place at Babelsberg Studio in Germany and Chicago.

The Matrix sequel stars Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss, Jonathan Groff, Jessica Henwick, Max Riemelt, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Andrew Caldwell and Neil Patrick Harris.

Lana Wachowski — the co-creator of the record-breaking and genre-defining world of The Matrix — is set to write, direct and produce the all-new film, returning audiences to the reality-bending universe.

Warner Bros. Pictures and Village Roadshow Pictures will produce and globally distribute the film. Wachowski is producing the film together with Grant Hill. The Matrix 4 screenplay is by Wachowski, Aleksandar Hemon and David Mitchell.

The fourth installment is scheduled for a May 21, 2021 release.

The three previous films (buy the collection) — The Matrix (1999), The Matrix Reloaded (2003) and The Matrix Revolutions (2003) — have earned more than $1.6 billion at the global box office and were all top-10 domestic hits in their respective years of release.

The Matrix Revolutions was also the first film ever to release simultaneously in every major country at the same hour around the world.
