Viaplay March 2023 Schedule Announced

Following the launch of the Viaplay streaming service in the U.S. in late February, the streaming platform is adding a variety of premium content in March. The Viaplay March 2023 titles include chilling Nordic noir series and shocking true crime documentaries.

The Viaplay March 2023 slate includes Connie Nielsen’s critically-acclaimed biopic series The Dreamer – Becoming Karen Blixen, the award-nominated feature film Margrete: Queen of the North, music doc a-ha: The Movie, the second season of police drama Thin Blue Line, and more.

The service is also available through Comcast’s Xfinity and Xumo platforms and as part of The Roku Channel’s Premium Subscriptions line-up.

The Preacher’s Dark Side (Predikantens Dubbelliv) – Viaplay True Crime Documentary
Peter Karlsson is a happily married family man, a preacher and a serial rapist. For many years he lives a double life posting pictures of himself, his wife and his children snuggling up on the couch on Friday evenings.

He is deeply involved in Bible studies, and he is an avid preacher. Parallel to being a “good husband and father” he goes out to “ease his anxiety”. His way of doing this is to threaten, molest and rape women that go jogging by the beach.

In the beginning, he mostly fondles women only to escalate to rape and threaten his victims with a knife, sometimes even filming the rapes with his phone. After many attacks, the police make a sketch of the rapist and Peter’s wife recognizes him. (2022, 2 episodes)
