Titans Season Three Heads to Gotham City

Warner Bros. Television today announced at DC FanDome that circumstances in Titans season three will draw our heroes to Gotham City, where they will reunite with old friends and face new threats.

The DC FanDome panel included executive producer Greg Walker and series stars Brenton Thwaites, Anna Diop, Teagan Croft, Ryan Potter, Conor Leslie, Curran Walters, Joshua Orpin, Damaris Lewis, with Alan Ritchson and Minka Kelly.

During the panel, the following new characters were revealed to be appearing on Titans season three:

Red Hood (Series star Curran Walters) – Jason Todd now dons a new identity in his obsession to take down his old team.

Barbara Gordon (to be cast) – Former Batgirl Barbara Gordon is now Commissioner of the Gotham City Police Department. Although she has a past relationship with Dick Grayson, she is wary of the Titans now being in Gotham.

Dr. Jonathan Crane (to be cast) – Known to most as the Scarecrow, Crane is a current inmate at Arkham Asylum and offers his services as a profiler and consultant for the Gotham City Police Department.

Titans is produced by Weed Road Pictures and Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television. The series was developed by Akiva Goldsman & Geoff Johns & Greg Berlanti, based on characters from DC. Geoff Johns, Greg Berlanti, Greg Walker, Sarah Schechter and Richard Hatem are the executive producers.

The first two seasons of Titans are now streaming on DC Universe in the U.S.

In the action-packed, live-action series, Dick Grayson, aka the former Robin (series star Brenton Thwaites), emerges from the shadows to lead a band of new heroes – including Starfire, Raven, Beast Boy and others. The series follows this group of young heroes as they come of age and find belonging in a gritty take on the iconic Teen Titans franchise.

In the first season Dick meets Rachel Roth aka Raven (series star Teagan Croft), a young girl with special abilities brought on by a mysterious darkness inside of her that she struggles to control, and together, they find themselves embroiled in a conspiracy to bring about Hell on Earth.

Joined by the mysterious Kory Anders aka Starfire (series star Anna Diop) and loveable Gar Logan aka Beast Boy (series star Ryan Potter), these lost and disparate individuals become a surrogate family to one another and a team of heroes for the world.

The second season of Titans culminated with the long-awaited emergence of Nightwing (see below) as their leader and the tragic death of one of their own. As a new mysterious threat looms, Titans season three promises to be the biggest yet.
