Thompson and Rudd to Host the Last Two SNL Episodes of the Season

-

NBC has announced who will host the last two SNL episodes of the season in May. As was previously revealed, Adam Sandler will make his highly-anticipated return to Studio 8H for his Saturday Night Live hosting debut on May 4. Shawn Mendes will return to SNL for his second appearance as musical guest that night.

Academy Award winner Emma Thompson will then make her Saturday Night Live hosting debut on May 11. Thompson stars opposite Mindy Kaling in the comedy Late Night, due in theaters June 7.

The GRAMMY Award-nominated band Jonas Brothers will return to SNL for their second appearance as musical guest. Sucker, the band’s first original release in nearly six years, debuted at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Paul Rudd returns to SNL for the fourth time as host for the season finale on May 18. Rudd reprises his role as Ant-Man in the highly-anticipated Avengers: Endgame, in theaters April 26.

GRAMMY-nominated multiplatinum artist DJ Khaled will make his SNL debut as musical guest. His eagerly awaited 11th record, Father of Asahd, will be released May 17.

Saturday Night Live is produced in association with Broadway Video. The creator and executive producer is Lorne Michaels.
