The Report Trailer with Adam Driver and Annette Bening

Amazon Studios has released the trailer for The Report, coming to theaters on November 15 and available on Amazon Prime Video on November 29. Directed by Scott Z. Burns, the film stars Adam Driver, Annette Bening, Ted Levine, Michael C. Hall, Tim Blake Nelson, Corey Stoll, Maura Tierney and Jon Hamm.

The Report is a riveting thriller based on actual events. Idealistic staffer Daniel J. Jones (Adam Driver) is tasked by his boss Senator Dianne Feinstein (Annette Bening) to lead an investigation of the CIA’s Detention and Interrogation Program, which was created in the aftermath of 9/11. Jones’ relentless pursuit of the truth leads to explosive findings that uncover the lengths to which the nation’s top intelligence agency went to destroy evidence, subvert the law, and hide a brutal secret from the American public.

The film, which had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival on January 26, 2019, was also written by Burns. The producers include Steven Soderbergh, Jennifer Fox, Scott Z. Burns, Kerry Orent, Michael Sugar, Danny Gabai, and Eddy Moretti. The executive producers include Nancy Dubuc, Shane Smith, Natalie Farrey, Lila Yacoub, Michael DiVerdi, Vincent Landay, and TJ Rinomato.

Scott Z. Burns’ credits include producing An Inconvenient Truth and executive producing An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power; writing The Bourne Ultimatum, The Informant!, Contagion, and Side Effects; and directing Pu-239.
