Netflix has released the trailer and poster for The Princess Switch: Switched Again, which will launch on the streaming service November 19, 2020. That’s exactly a year after filming began in the UK.
Vanessa Hudgens returns as star and producer for the romantic comedy The Princess Switch: Switched Again.
In the first movie, Margaret (Vanessa Hudgens), the gorgeous Duchess of Montenaro, switches places with Stacy (also Hudgens), a “commoner” from Chicago, who looks exactly like her one week before Christmas. With the assistance of a magical Santa’s helper, Margaret falls in love with Stacy’s handsome co-worker, while Stacy falls in love with Margaret’s fiance, the dashing Prince.
In the sequel, Duchess Margaret unexpectedly inherits the throne and hits a rough patch with Kevin, so it’s up to Stacy to save the day before a new lookalike — party girl Fiona — foils their plans.
In the third installment, Duchess Margaret unexpectedly inherits the throne to Montenaro and hits a rough patch with boyfriend Kevin. Now it’s up to her double Princess Stacy of Belgravia to get these star-crossed lovers back together… but the course of true love is complicated by the appearance of a handsome royal who’s intent on stealing Margaret’s heart.
Throw in the unexpected arrival of Margaret’s outrageous party girl cousin Fiona, a third look-alike who has ambitions of her own, and you have the recipe for Christmas triple trouble!
The Princess Switch: Switched Again was again directed by Mike Rohl from a screenplay by Robin Bernheim and Megan Metzger. Sam Palladio and Nick Sagar also star.
The executive producers include Amanda Phillips Atkins, Eric Jarboe, Jimmy Townsend, and Robin Bernheim, while the producers are Brad Krevoy, Hudgens, and Steven McGlothen.
The production companies include Motion Picture Corporation of America and Brad Krevoy Productions.
