The Night House and Wrath of Man Trailers Debut

We’ve got two new trailers for upcoming summer releases The Night House and Wrath of Man. Wrath of Man will kick off the summer on May 7, while The Night House opens on July 16.

Searchlight Pictures has released both the official trailer and poster for The Night House, which follows a widow (Rebecca Hall) who begins to uncover her recently-deceased husband’s disturbing secrets.

The movie also stars Sarah Goldberg, Evan Jonigkeit, Stacy Martin, and Vondie Curtis Hall. It is rated R for “some violence/disturbing images, and language including some sexual references.”

Directed by David Bruckner (The Ritual, V/H/S), The Night House was written by Ben Collins & Luke Piotrowski.

David S. Goyer (Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, The Dark Knight) and Keith Levine (47 Meters Down, Scream: The TV Series) are producing under their Phantom Four production company. John Zois is also producing.

From MGM, Miramax and United Artists Releasing, Wrath of Man is directed by Guy Ritchie from a script by Ritchie, Ivan Atkinson and Marn Davies.

The movie stars Jason Statham, Holt McCallany, Jeffrey Donovan, Josh Hartnett, Laz Alonzo, Raúl Castillo, Deobia Oparei, with Eddie Marsan and Scott Eastwood. It is based on Le Convoyeur, directed by Nicolas Boukhrief and written by Nicolas Boukhrief and Éric Besnard.

In Wrath of Man, a mysterious and wild-eyed new cash truck security guard (Jason Statham) surprises his coworkers during a heist in which he unexpectedly unleashes precision skills. The crew is left wondering who he is and where he came from.

Soon, the marksman’s ultimate motive becomes clear as he takes dramatic and irrevocable steps to settle a score.

The producers are Guy Ritchie, Ivan Atkinson, and Bill Block. The executive producers include Louise Killin, Joshua Throne, Steven Chasman, and Andrew Golov.

Wrath of Man is rated R for “strong violence throughout, pervasive language, and some sexual references.”
