Today, Searchlight Pictures released a brand-new trailer and two posters for the upcoming film The Menu. You can check out the trailer for The Menu in the player below and scroll down for the posters.
In The Menu, a couple (Anya Taylor-Joy and Nicholas Hoult) travels to a coastal island to eat at an exclusive restaurant where the chef (Ralph Fiennes) has prepared a lavish menu with some shocking surprises.
The cast for the film also includes Hong Chau, Janet McTeer, Judith Light, Reed Birney, Paul Adelstein, Aimee Carrero, Arturo Castro, Mark ST. Cyr, Rob Yang, and John Leguizamo. It is directed by Mark Mylod.
The Menu is Mark Mylod’s directorial debut from a script written by Seth Reiss and Will Tracy.
“Mark has a keen eye for subversive humor and a sharp visual style that brings to life the acerbic wit of this terrific script written by Seth and Will,” said Searchlight’s DanTram Nguyen and Katie Goodson-Thomas previously.
“This project is next level in every sense, and we can’t wait to see what Mark, Hyperobject, and this incredible ensemble and crew serve audiences…”
The crew also includes production designer Ethan Tobman, director of photography Peter Deming, costume designer Amy Westcott, Academy Award-nominated editor Christopher Tellefsen, and casting director Mary Vernieu.
The Menu is produced by Hyperobject Industries’ Adam McKay and Betsy Koch. Chef Dominique Crenn is serving as chief technical consultant.
Michael Sledd serves as executive producer, and Hyperobject Industries’ Jenna Go serves as associate producer. The Menu will hit theaters on November 18, 2022.
