-

Disney+ has revealed both The Mandalorian Season 2 trailer and poster, which you can view below. The second season of the popular series will premiere on the streaming service on October 30.

The Mandalorian stars Pedro Pascal (Narcos) in the title role as a lone Mandalorian gunfighter, alongside Gina Carano (Deadpool), Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad), Emily Swallow (Supernatural), Carl Weathers (Predator), Omid Abtahi (American Gods), Ming-Na Wen (Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), Werner Herzog (Grizzly Man), and Nick Nolte (Warrior).

Temuera Morrison is joining the second season as Boba Fett. The actor previously played Jango Fett and his clone troopers in Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones, as well as the clone troopers in Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith.

Boba Fett (played by Jeremy Bulloch), a clone of Jango Fett, was a bounty hunter hired by Darth Vader to capture Han Solo in Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back.

Boba Fett had brief appearances in Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi and the Special Edition of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope. He also appeared in episodes of Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

It was also previously announced that Michael Biehn is playing what is said to be a bounty hunter, and Rosario Dawson is expected to play fan-favorite character Ahsoka Tano.

The Mandalorian is written and executive produced by Jon Favreau, with Dave Filoni(Star Wars: The Clone WarsStar Wars Rebels) directing the first episode and serving as executive producer alongside Kathleen Kennedy and Colin Wilson.

Additional episodic directors of the first season included Deborah Chow (Jessica Jones), Rick Famuyiwa (Dope), Bryce Dallas Howard (Solemates), and Taika Waititi (Thor: Ragnarok).

Joining the directors list for the second season are Peyton Reed and Robert Rodriguez directing episodes.

The first season premiered on the streaming service on November 12, 2019 and was a major success for Disney+.

The first season is officially described as follows: “After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. ‘The Mandalorian’ is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.
