The Gray Man First-Look Photos and Release Dates

Netflix today announced that Anthony and Joe Russo’s The Gray Man will open in theaters on July 15 and then will start streaming on Netflix on July 22. The streaming service has also provided us with eight photos from the film.

The movie is based on the book series by Mark Greaney. You can view and buy the novels in the series at Amazon.com.

The Gray Man stars Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, Jessica Henwick, Wagner Moura, Dhanush, Billy Bob Thornton, Alfre Woodard, Regé-Jean Page, Julia Butters, Eme Ikwuakor, and Scott Haze.

The film is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo (Captain America and The Avengers films) from a script by Joe Russo, Christopher Markus, and Stephen McFeely.

The Gray Man

The Gray Man is CIA operative Court Gentry (Ryan Gosling), aka Sierra Six. Plucked from a federal penitentiary and recruited by his handler, Donald Fitzroy (Billy Bob Thornton), Gentry was once a highly skilled, Agency-sanctioned merchant of death.

But now the tables have turned, and Six is the target, hunted across the globe by Lloyd Hansen (Chris Evans), a former cohort at the CIA, who will stop at nothing to take him out. Agent Dani Miranda (Ana de Armas) has his back. He’ll need it.

The Gray Man

The Gray Man is the debut novel by Mark Greaney, first published in 2009 by Jove Books. It is also the first novel to feature the Gray Man, freelance assassin, and former CIA operative Court Gentry.

The film’s producers are Joe Roth, Jeffery Kirschenbaum, Joe Russo, Anthony Russo, Mike Larocca, and Chris Castaldi.

The executive producers are Patrick Newall, Christopher Markus, Stephen McFeely, Jake Aust, Angela Russo-Otstot, Geoff Haley, Zack Roth, and Palak Patel.
