AMC has debuted a new teaser for The Walking Dead Mid-Season 10, which premieres on Sunday, February 23 at 9/8c. In the clip, Norman Reedus’s character, Daryl Dixon, says: “They’re not fighting for revenge. They’re fighting for their future.”
It was previously confirmed that The Walking Dead will return for an eleventh season and that Lauren Cohan, who plays fan-favorite character Maggie Greene, will return a season 11 series regular.
Over ten seasons, The Walking Dead remains the highest-rated series on cable television and has given life to an expanding Universe that now includes the companion series Fear the Walking Dead, a new third series from Chief Content Officer Scott M. Gimple and TWD veteran writer and producer Matt Negrete titled The Walking Dead: World Beyond, as well as an untitled The Walking Dead Movie, starring Andrew Lincoln, with Universal and Skybound Entertainment.
Based on the comic book series written by Robert Kirkman and published by Image Comics, The Walking Dead tells the story of the months and years after a zombie apocalypse and follows a group of survivors who travel in search of a safe and secure home. The series is executive produced by Chief Content Officer Scott M. Gimple, Showrunner Angela Kang, Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, Dave Alpert, Greg Nicotero, Joseph Incaprera and Denise Huth.
