The Bubble is a comedy about a group of actors and actresses stuck inside a pandemic bubble at a hotel attempting to complete a sequel to an action franchise film about flying dinosaurs.
Coming to Netflix on April 1, 2022, the movie stars Karen Gillan, Iris Apatow, Fred Armisen, Maria Bakalova, David Duchovny, Keegan-Michael Key, Leslie Mann, Pedro Pascal, and Peter Serafinowicz.
The cast is rounded out by Vir Das, Rob Delaney, Galen Hopper, Samson Kayo, Guz Khan, Nick Kocher, Ross Lee, Harry Trevaldwyn, and Danielle Vitalis.
Judd Apatow serves as director, co-writer, and producer via his Apatow Productions. Pam Brady (Hamlet 2, South Park) is the co-writer.
The executive producers of the Netflix release are Barry Mendel, Donald Sabourin, and Brady.
The Bubble follows the making of Cliff Beasts 6: Battle for Everest: Memories of a Requiem, which is the sixth installment of the “23rd largest Dino franchise ever”.
In the sixth movie, humankind is threatened once again by a dinosaur species: Cliff Beasts. The team must reunite, after five long years, to battle the Cliff Beasts – but this time on Mount Everest.
