The Brothers Sun Teaser Featuring Michelle Yeoh

As part of the Geeked Week event, Netflix has shared the official teaser trailer and poster for upcoming series The Brothers Sun. The show will launch on January 4, 2024.

The Brothers Sun stars Justin Chien (Charles), Michelle Yeoh (Mama Sun), Sam Song Li (Bruce Sun), Highdee Kuan (Alexis), and Joon Lee (TK).

The recurring cast includes Alice Hewkin (May/June), Jon Xue Zhang (Blood Boots), Jenny Yang (Xing), Madison Hu (Grace), and Rodney To (Mark).

In the series, when the head of a powerful Taiwanese triad is shot by a mysterious assassin, his eldest son, legendary killer Charles “Chairleg” Sun (Chien) heads to Los Angeles to protect his mother, Eileen (Yeoh), and his naive younger brother, Bruce (Song Li) – who’s been completely sheltered from the truth of his family until now.

But as Taipei’s deadliest societies and a new rising faction go head-to-head for dominance – Charles, Bruce and their mother must heal the wounds caused by their separation and figure out what brotherhood and family truly mean before one of their countless enemies kills them all.

An action-packed comedy and family drama, The Brothers Sun is created by Brad Falchuk and Byron Wu. The series comes from Brad Falchuk Teley-Vision.

Falchuk is the showrunner and executive produces with Wu, Mikkel Bondesen, and Kevin Tancharoen.

The directors are Kevin Tancharoen (101, 102, 104, 107, 108) and Viet Nguyen (103, 105, 106).

The writers include Byron Wu (101, 102, 108), Brad Falchuk (101, 108), Andrew Law (103), SJ Son (104), Justin Calen-Chenn (104), Ally Seibert (105), Amy Wang (106), and Jason Ning (107).
