Tenet IMAX Spot and Hayley Atwell Explores the Title’s Secrets

-

A new Tenet IMAX spot has arrived and can be watched below! The Spyscape museum has also released a new video in which actress Hayley Atwell explores the secrets behind the title of the Christopher Nolan film, taking us into the realm of ancient puzzles. You can check that video out below as well.

Warner Bros. Pictures will release Tenet in 70 international territories on August 26 before opening the film in select cities in North America on September 3.

The international Tenet release will include countries such as Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, Russia, Spain and the UK. While theaters have started opening in China, the movie is not scheduled to open there yet.

With the movie costing around $200 million to produce (not including marketing), Warner Bros. has no intention of debuting the film On Demand or on the HBO Max streaming service.

John David Washington (BlacKkKlansman) is the new Protagonist in Christopher Nolan’s original sci-fi action spectacle Tenet. Armed with only one word — Tenet — and fighting for the survival of the entire world, the Protagonist journeys through a twilight world of international espionage on a mission that will unfold in something beyond real time. Not time travel. Inversion.

The cast also includes Robert Pattinson (Twilight films, upcoming The Batman), Elizabeth Debicki, Dimple Kapadia, Michael Caine and Kenneth Branagh. Christopher Nolan directed from his own original screenplay, utilizing a mixture of IMAX and 70mm film to bring the story to the screen.

The film is being produced by Nolan and Emma Thomas. Thomas Hayslip is serving as executive producer. The movie reportedly carries a budget of $205 million, making it Nolan’s most expensive original film.

Nolan’s behind-the-scenes creative team includes director of photography Hoyte van Hoytema, production designer Nathan Crowley, editor Jennifer Lame, costume designer Jeffrey Kurland, and visual effects supervisor Andrew Jackson.

The Warner Bros. release is a Syncopy Production and the score is being composed by Ludwig Göransson.

You can watch the Tenet IMAX promo below and you’ll find the Spyscape video underneath.

You can watch the previously-released trailer below and you’ll find all the posters for the film so far as well.
