Sundance Now May 2022 Schedule Announced

Sundance Now has announced the movies and TV series that are coming to the AMC Networks-owned streaming service in May. The Sundance Now May 2022 lineup includes world-class dramas, mysteries, and comedies from Britain and beyond.

The Sundance Now May 2022 slate features such titles as Ten Percent Season 1, The Ipcress File, and The Dreamers.

The Sundance Now Original Series, based on the original hit French series Call My Agent!, follows the small London talent agency of Nightingale Hart as it struggles to adapt in an ever-changing industry. After tragedy strikes the company, the personal and professional lives of the agents and assistants are thrown into turmoil.

But duty calls – their celebrity clients are in constant need of help from their agents, with issues ranging from marital problems to over-commitment to lingering method acting to stage fright. The Dreamers tells the story of three young Palestinian students who travel to Tel Aviv in 2008 and try to establish a new and liberated Palestinian community for themselves. When the three friends, Warda (Maisa Abd Elhadi), Kayes (Riyad Sliman), and Salah (Aiman Daw), try to buy drugs and get high at the end of a long day, they find themselves caught in a drug deal with a Palestinian crime family who ultimately see the three indebted students as ideal accomplices for getting their goods distributed among local youth.

This gets them into trouble with the local crime world, the police, and their own families. The story is set against the backdrop of the rising tensions in the Gaza Strip, and the trio realizes that, in order to unload the drugs, they have to create the “new Palestinian scene.” In their own unique way, they decide to initiate an anti-war protest in the form of a large music festival featuring Jews and Palestinians together.
