Starz (start your free trial) has announced the movie and TV titles coming to the service in February. The Starz February 2022 schedule includes Power Book IV: Force, featuring Chicago-native Joseph Sikora as fan-favorite Tommy Egan.
The series premieres Sunday, February 6, across all Starz platforms, including on Starz at 9 p.m. ET/PT in the U.S. and Canada, and it will air day and date internationally on the STARZPLAY premium streaming platform across Europe, Latin America, and Japan.
Power Book IV: Force centers on fan-favorite character Tommy Egan (Sikora) after he cuts ties and puts New York in his rearview mirror for good. As Tommy leaves New York after losing Ghost, LaKeisha, and the only city he’s ever known, he makes a quick detour to close an old wound that’s been haunting him for decades.
What was supposed to be a quick stop turns into a labyrinth of family secrets and lies Tommy thought were long buried. One step leads to another, and Tommy quickly finds himself in Chicago’s drug game, inserting himself between the city’s two biggest crews.
In a city divided by race, Tommy straddles the line, ultimately becoming the lynchpin that not only unites them – but holds the power to watch them crumble.
As the first season unfolds at breakneck speed, Tommy uses his outsider status to his advantage, breaking all the local rules and rewriting them on his quest to become the biggest drug dealer in Chicago.
Starz’s hit series Power Book II: Ghost also wraps its second season on February 6 at 8 p.m. ET/PT across all Starz platforms. Power Book II: Ghost begins with Tariq still running from a legacy that haunts him.
The Starz February 2022 lineup celebrates Black History Month all month long and includes a Run the World marathon of episodes 101-108 on February 7-16 and a Blindspotting marathon of episodes 101-108 on February 17-28.
From the director of Blindspotting, Summertime premieres on Starz on Tuesday, February 1. Summertime is a 2020 American comedy-drama film directed by Carlos López Estrada from a screenplay by Dave Harris.
Over the course of a hot summer day in Los Angeles, the lives of 25 young Angelinos intersect. A skating guitarist, a tagger, two wannabe rappers, an exasperated fast-food worker, and a limo driver – they all weave in and out of each other’s stories.
