Starz (start your free trial) has announced the movie and TV titles coming to the service in April. The Starz April 2021 lineup includes the Men in Kilts: A Roadtrip with Sam and Graham finale and the premiere of docuseries Confronting a Serial Killer.
From Oscar-nominated and Emmy-winning filmmaker Joe Berlinger, the five-episode series Confronting a Serial Killer tells the timely story of the unprecedented relationship between acclaimed New York Times best-selling author and memoirist Jillian Lauren (Some Girls: My Life in a Harem) and the most prolific serial killer in American history, Samuel Little, and her race against time to identify his victims before it’s too late.
Lauren uncovers Little’s darkest secrets and aids law enforcement in solving a multitude of cold case murders while struggling to reconcile her own history of addiction and abuse with her present-day mission to return the identities of previously nameless bodies and forgotten women. As she slips deeper into his sordid world, Lauren realizes that she may become, psychologically, Little’s last victim.
The Starz April 2021 schedule also features new episodes of The Gloaming, starring Emma Booth and Ewen Leslie, and Step Up: High Water.
STARZ Encore will air Westerns every Sunday morning at 10AM ET/PT including Hatfields & McCoys (Easter Sunday), Rough Night in Jericho, Two Mules for Sister Sara, and The Comancheros. STARZ Cinema will celebrate Shakespeare’s birthday on April 23 with Strange Magic, Shakespeare in Love, and All Is True.
STARZ Comedy will feature a selection of comedy films for April Fools’ Day, all day on Thursday, April 1. The titles include Cheech & Chong’s Nice Dreams, Get Him to the Greek, The Golden Child, Real Genius, The Broken Hearts Gallery, How High, I Love You, Beth Cooper, The Bronze and Whip It.
