Starz App August 2019 Movie and TV Titles Announced

Starz has announced the movie and titles coming to their App in August. They have also revealed the titles that will be leaving the service next month. The Starz App August 2019 lineup includes:

A Boy. A Girl. A Dream – August 1st
The film follows Cass (Omari Hardwick), an L.A. club promoter and Frida (Meagan Good), a Midwestern visitor, on a thrilling and emotional journey on the night of the 2016 Presidential election. She challenges him to revisit his broken dreams, while he pushes her to discover hers.

Back to the Future (Part I, Part II and Part III) – August 1st
When teenager Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) is blasted to 1955 in the DeLorean time machine created by the eccentric Doc Brown (Christopher Lloyd), he finds himself mixed up in a time-altering chain reaction that could vaporize his future — and leave him trapped in the past.

Part II – Picking up precisely where they left off, Marty and Doc launch themselves to the year 2015 to fine-tune the future and inadvertently disrupt the space-time continuum. Now, their only chance to fix the present is by going back to 1955 all over again before it is too late.

Part III – Stranded in 1955 after a freak accident, Marty McFly discovers he must travel back to 1885 to rescue Doc Brown before he becomes smitten with school teacher Clara Clayton (Mary Steenburgen). Now, it’s up to Marty to keep Doc out of trouble, get the DeLorean running and put the past, present and future on track so they can all get back to where — and when — they belong.

Kleptocrats – August 5th
It is the world’s biggest white-collar heist involving government corruption at the highest level, abuse of power and international money laundering. A hot-shot financier embezzles $3.5 billion from Malaysia’s wealth fund 1MDB (1Malaysia Development Berhad). Money from the audacious scam flows into New York and Hollywood where the thieves court A-list celebrities and even finance Leonardo DiCaprio’s passion project “The Wolf of Wall Street.” But when investigative journalists from the New York Times, Wall Street Journal and the Hollywood Reporter trace the money trail and unravel the scheme, the US Department of Justice gets involved, the Prime Minister and his inner circle are implicated, assets are frozen, money is seized and the Malaysian people fight back.

Power Season Six – August 25th
“Power” season six picks up with James “Ghost” St. Patrick seeking vengeance. His former drug partner and brother in arms must pay for the ultimate betrayal. Rocked to his core by the perfidiousness and cruelties of those he once called his family, Ghost devotes himself to one notion: Success is the best revenge, with all intentions of getting both. Ghost aims to get even with Tommy, get the Queens Child Project built to consecrate Raina’s legacy, and finally achieve a thriving legitimate lifestyle with no criminal strings attached. Ghost’s need to wrest satisfaction and happiness from this world by any means necessary – is the most dangerous he’s ever faced. As the Feds grow closer to convicting him, Ghost must remain vigilant toward those wanting to take him down for his past criminal enterprises.

Miss Bala – August 31st
An American makeup artist (Gina Rodriguez) is forced to work for a violent Mexican drug cartel after they kidnap her best friend in Tijuana. Her life is placed under even greater danger when the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) coerce her into becoming a double agent.
