Captain America: Civil War, Spider-Man: Homecoming and Avengers: Infinity War star Tom Holland is attending Ace Comic Con in Seattle this weekend and he has seemingly revealed the title for the upcoming Homecoming sequel – Spider-Man: Far From Home.
In an Instagram post, which you can watch below, Holland says that he doesn’t have many revelations but then reveals that he’s got the new script and flashes an iPad which has the Spider-Man: Far From Home title on it!
It was previously revealed that the July 5, 2019 release will take Peter Parker to Europe. Marvel Studios‘ Kevin Feige said that filming will start in July in London.
Jake Gyllenhaal is set to play the villain Mysterio in Spider-Man: Far From Home and Michael Keaton will reportedly reprise the role of The Vulture from the first film as well.
We’ll have to see if Tom Holland’s Spider-Man will appear in Avengers 4 following the events of Avengers: Infinity War, but the actor also previously confirmed that a third Spider-Man movie will be coming as well.
Spider-Man: Homecoming opened on in July of 2017 and grossed $880 million worldwide, with $334.2 million coming from North America and $545.9 million from overseas markets. It was directed by Jon Watts, who will again helm the sequel, and also stars Zendaya, Donald Glover, Jacob Batalon, Laura Harrier, Tony Revolori, Tyne Daly, Bokeem Woodbine, Marisa Tomei, and Robert Downey Jr.
