Spider-Man Meets Mysterio in a New Far From Home Photo

EW has published two new photos from Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios’ Spider-Man: Far From Home, opening in theaters on July 2nd. In one Far From Home photo, you can see Tom Holland’s Spider-Man meeting Jake Gyllenhaal’s Mysterio. You can view both photos in the gallery below.

Peter Parker returns in Spider-Man: Far From Home, the next chapter of the Spider-Man: Homecoming series! Our friendly neighborhood Super Hero decides to join his best friends Ned, MJ, and the rest of the gang on a European vacation. However, Peter’s plan to leave super heroics behind for a few weeks are quickly scrapped when he begrudgingly agrees to help Nick Fury uncover the mystery of several elemental creature attacks, creating havoc across the continent!

The Spider-Man: Far From Home cast includes Tom Holland again in the title role, Samuel L. Jackson, Zendaya, Cobie Smulders, Jon Favreau, JB Smoove, Jacob Batalon, Martin Star, with Marisa Tomei, and Jake Gyllenhaal.

Jon Watts is directing again from a script by Erik Sommers and Chris McKenna. Kevin Feige and Amy Pascal are producing the film. Michael Giacchino is returning to compose the score.

Spider-Man: Homecoming opened on in July of 2017 and grossed $880 million worldwide, with $334.2 million coming from North America and $545.9 million from overseas markets, including $116.3 million from China alone.
