Spider-Man: Far From Home Box Office Up to $310 Million Globally

-

Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios’ Spider-Man: Far From Home has grossed $310 million globally in its first seven days of release. Of the Far From Home box office total, $218.5 million has come from international markets and $91.5 million from domestic theaters. Far From Home was made for about $160 million.

In its third day of release in North America on Thursday, the film took in $25.2 million, bringing its three-day total to $91.5 million. Sony is still projecting $125 million for the film’s first six days, but we think it will be much higher.

On opening day, July 2nd, the film took in $39.3 million at the North American box office, making it the biggest Tuesday of all time. On its second day, the movie took in $27 million domestically, making it the biggest Wednesday gross of all time for any Marvel Cinematic Universe film.

Spider-Man: Homecoming opened in July of 2017 and grossed $880 million worldwide, with $334.2 million coming from North America and $545.9 million from overseas markets, including $116.3 million from China alone.

Peter Parker returns in Sony Pictures‘ Spider-Man: Far From Home, the next chapter of the Spider-Man: Homecoming series! Our friendly neighborhood Super Hero decides to join his best friends Ned, MJ, and the rest of the gang on a European vacation. However, Peter’s plan to leave super heroics behind for a few weeks are quickly scrapped when he begrudgingly agrees to help Nick Fury uncover the mystery of several elemental creature attacks, creating havoc across the continent!

The movie stars Tom Holland again in the title role, Samuel L. Jackson, Zendaya, Cobie Smulders, Jon Favreau, JB Smoove, Jacob Batalon, Martin Star, with Marisa Tomei, and Jake Gyllenhaal. Jon Watts directed again from a script by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. Kevin Feige and Amy Pascal produced the film.
