Showtime has announced the movies and TV shows coming to the service in December. The Showtime December 2020 lineup includes the return of comedy series Shameless for its 11th and final season on Sunday, December 6, followed by the premiere of the limited series Your Honor, starring Emmy winner and Oscar nominee Bryan Cranston.
The Showtime December 2020 schedule also includes a special episode of Couples Therapy on Sunday, December 13. In the episode, Dr. Guralnik helps guide her clients’ relationships through the health crisis.

Documentary Macho: The Hector Camacho Story, following the rise, fall and untimely death of one of boxing’s most colorful champions, Hector Camacho, will premiere on Friday, December 4. The finale of Matt Tyrnauer’s docuseries The Reagans will air on Sunday, December 6. Comedy series Moonbase 8, starring Fred Armisen, John C Reilly and Tim Heidecker, will conclude its season on Sunday, December 13.

The final season of SHAMELESS finds the Gallagher family and the South Side at a crossroads, with changes caused by the COVID pandemic, gentrification and aging to reconcile. As Frank confronts his own mortality and family ties in his alcoholic and drug induced twilight years, Lip struggles with the prospect of becoming the family’s new patriarch. Newlyweds Ian and Mickey are figuring out the rules and responsibilities of being in a committed relationship while Deb embraces her individuality and single motherhood. COUPLES THERAPY

When stay-at-home orders hit New York in March of this year, Dr. Guralnik was deep in therapy with many couples in crisis. Suddenly, these couples found themselves facing a radical new reality – they were literally trapped together, during a time of global, cultural and political unrest. The special follows the couples’ struggles through remote therapy sessions, as they push Dr. Guralnik to the limits of her insight and skill. Some couples are forced into conflict they can no longer avoid; some rise above to discover renewed love and connection. All emerge with their relationships profoundly changed.

Fred Armisen, Tim Heidecker and John C. Reilly star in this new comedy series as three astronauts stationed at NASA’s Moon Base Simulator in a remote part of the Arizona desert. While working vigorously to qualify for their first lunar mission, they encounter many obstacles including loneliness, self-doubt and their own incompetence. In spite of it all, they remain determined to prove they have the right stuff to reach the moon.
