Robert Pattinson and Elizabeth Debicki Join Christopher Nolan Film

Robert Pattinson (The Twilight Saga) and Elizabeth Debicki (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2) have joined director Christopher Nolan’s upcoming and as-yet-untitled film, according to Variety. They join BlacKkKlansman star John David Washington in the cast. The film is scheduled to open in theaters on July 17, 2020.

While plot details continue to remain under wraps, the trade is hearing that the Christopher Nolan movie is “a massive, innovative, action blockbuster, which will again be shown in IMAX.”

In addition to writing and directing, Nolan is also producing with his partner Emma Thomas. Filming is scheduled to begin later this year.

Warner Bros. Pictures, which will distribute the film, also released Christopher Nolan’s last movie, Dunkirk, on July 21, 2017. The movie, written, directed, and produced by Nolan, was shot on IMAX 65 mm and 65 mm large-format film stock. It grossed nearly $527 million worldwide.

Pattinson, who starred as Edward the vampire in The Twilight Saga, has a number of projects coming up, including The LighthouseThe King and Waiting for the Barbarians. He is also known for The Lost City of Z and High Life.

Debicki appeared in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and is listed as returning in the sequel to the film, which will be directed by James Gunn. She’s also appeared in The Cloverfield ParadoxWidows and Peter Rabbit.
