Adult Swim has revealed the new Rick and Morty Season 4 trailer, which gives you a first look at the remaining five episodes that will premiere on Sunday, May 3rd. The Rick and Morty Season 4 trailer debuted during the network’s annual April Fools’ stunt last night.
Viewers were in for more surprises as rapper, singer/songwriter and Adult Swim super fan, Post Malone hosted the event along with co-hosts from the network’s flagship livestreaming show FishCenter Live who were on standby for fans to chat, skype, and call in.
If that’s not enough, fans tuned in to see early releases of never-before-seen episodes from the network’s upcoming programming slate, including new episodes from Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal, The Shivering Truth and all-new series JJ Villard’s Fairy Tales and YOLO: Crystal Fantasy from Bushworld Adventures‘ Michael Cusack.
Rick and Morty follows a sociopathic genius scientist who drags his inherently timid grandson on insanely dangerous adventures across the universe. Rick Sanchez is living with his daughter Beth’s family and constantly bringing her, his son-in-law Jerry, granddaughter Summer, and grandson Morty into intergalactic escapades.
The series stars Justin Roiland (Adventure Time), Sarah Chalke (Scrubs), Chris Parnell (Saturday Night Live), and Spencer Grammer (Greek). The series is co-created by Dan Harmon (Community) and Roiland, who also serve as executive producers.
