Regal Offers Free A Dog’s Way Home Tickets to U.S. Military Members

Regal has announced an exclusive opportunity for active duty and veteran U.S. military members to see Sony Pictures’ A Dog’s Way Home for free at their local theaters now through Sunday, Jan. 13. In collaboration with Sony Pictures, Regal will offer these free tickets at all Regal locations showing A Dog’s Way Home.

“Regal and Sony Pictures are pleased to collaborate and offer those in our military a chance to see this new heartwarming movie about the strong bond between people and their pets,” said Ken Thewes, CMO at Regal. “As a veteran of the Air Force, I am excited that Regal is partnering with Sony Pictures as we continue to look for opportunities to celebrate those who serve or have served in the military.”

Free tickets are available at the theatre box office through Sunday, Jan. 13. Those eligible need to show a valid, government-issued military ID to obtain one complimentary ticket to A Dog’s Way Home – a new release that chronicles the heartwarming adventure of Bella, a dog who embarks on an epic 400-mile journey home after she is separated from her beloved human.

Directed by Charles Martin Smith, the screenplay is by W. Bruce Cameron & Cathryn Michon based on W. Bruce Cameron’s book by the same name. The film is produced by Gavin Polone and Robert J. Dohrmann. T.D. Jakes, Derrick Williams, Yu Dong and Jeffrey Chan serve as executive producers. A Dog’s Way Home is rated PG and stars Ashley Judd, Jonah Hauer-King, Edward James Olmos and Alexandra Shipp with Wes Studi and Bryce Dallas Howard, who voices “Bella.”

To top off Regal’s free ticket offer, Regal Crown Club members can enjoy a free e-book download of A Dog’s Way Home, while supplies last, when they purchase tickets to the movie through Sunday, Jan. 13.
