Red Notice is a new action comedy launching on the streaming service on November 12, 2021.
Written and directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber, Red Notice stars Dwayne Johnson, Gal Gadot and Ryan Reynolds. Thurber previously teamed up with Johnson on Central Intelligence in 2016 and Skyscraper in 2018.
In the movie, an Interpol-issued Red Notice is a global alert to hunt and capture the world’s most wanted. But when a daring heist brings together the top FBI profiler (Johnson) and two rival criminals (Gadot, Reynolds), there’s no telling what will happen.
The movie was produced by Beau Flynn for FlynnPictureCo; Dwayne Johnson, Dany Garcia, and Hiram Garcia for Seven Bucks Productions; and Rawson Marshall Thurber.
When an Interpol-issued Red Notice — the highest level warrant to hunt and capture the world’s most wanted — goes out, the FBI’s top profiler John Hartley (Johnson) is on the case.
His global pursuit finds him smack dab in the middle of a daring heist where he’s forced to partner with the world’s greatest art thief Nolan Booth (Reynolds) in order to catch the world’s most wanted art thief, ‘The Bishop’ (Gadot).
The high-flying adventure that ensues takes the trio around the world, across the dance floor, trapped in a secluded prison, into the jungle and, worst of all for them, constantly into each other’s company.
The movie, also starring Ritu Arya and Chris Diamantopolous, is a stylish globe-trotting game of cat-and-mouse (and cat).
