Netflix has launched the Rebel Moon Fan Contest (see video below), which gives fans the opportunity to showcase their creativity and passion for the upcoming epic space fantasy directed by Zack Snyder. Entering will give fans the chance to win a visit to the set of the film in Los Angeles.
In Rebel Moon, a peaceful colony on the edge of the galaxy finds itself threatened by the armies of the tyrannical Regent Balisarius. The colony dispatches a young woman with a mysterious past to seek out warriors from neighboring planets to help them take a stand.
How to enter? Submit your original ideas for your wildest alien, creature or mechanized character that you think would live in the Rebel Moon Universe here by September 21, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time for a chance to win.
Netflix says that drawings, sculptures, graphic prints, paintings, sketches and more are all accepted as long as they are uploaded digitally in JPG or PNG format.
The contest will be judged under the criteria of style, originality/creativity and technical ability. Rebel Moon‘s special makeup effects designer and Academy Award winner Justin Raleigh will be choosing his 40 favorites from the submissions.
Those favorites will then be turned over to you — the fans — to vote for the 10 lucky fans who will get the chance to visit the Rebel Moon set this year. Additional details on the fan voting will follow once the finalists have been determined.
You can also share your artwork on your social media platforms with the hashtag #RebelMoon but this will not be counted as an official entry. Unlimited entries per individual are allowed.
The grand price will consist of a trip for one to the set of Rebel Moon in Los Angeles and a private tour of special effects makeup designer Justin Raleigh’s studio to further view and experience his work. The second price is nine trips for one to the set in Los Angeles. See the link above for the full rules.
