Raze Hell with the New Trailer for DOOM Eternal

-

Bethesda and id Software have revealed the new trailer for DOOM Eternal, which is scheduled to be released on March 20, 2020 and can be pre-ordered here.

Developed by id Software, DOOM Eternal is the direct sequel to DOOM, winner of The Game Awards’ Best Action Game of 2016. Experience the ultimate combination of speed and power as you rip-and-tear your way across dimensions with the next leap in push-forward, first-person combat.

Powered by idTech 7 and set to an all-new pulse-pounding soundtrack composed by Mick Gordon, DOOM Eternal puts you in control of the unstoppable DOOM Slayer as you blow apart new and classic demons with powerful weapons in unbelievable and never-before-seen worlds.

As the DOOM Slayer, you return to find Earth has suffered a demonic invasion. Raze Hell and discover the Slayer’s origins and his enduring mission to rip and tear… until it is done.

It was previously announced that DOOM 64 is launching March 20, 2020 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC alongside DOOM Eternal as a pre-order bonus. Nintendo Switch players can purchase DOOM 64 on March 20, or pre-order to receive the game for free when DOOM Eternal launches on the platform at a later date. The release marks the first time in 23 years that players can experience the cult classic on modern consoles.

The free DOOM 64 digital download is available with any past, present, or future pre-order of DOOM Eternal between now and its March 20th launch.

DOOM 64 — originally released on March 31, 1997 for Nintendo 64 — is included in the pre-order of the base game as well as the Deluxe Edition as a part of the Rip and Tear Pack. The Rip and Tear Pack also includes the DOOT Revenant player skin, the Throwback Shotgun Weapon skin, and the Cultist Base Master Level, a remixed version of the campaign level “Cultist Base,” with new challenges and surprises.
