Following last month’s date announcement, Netflix has now released the new trailer and key art for Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal The Movie Part 1 & Part 2. The anticipated double feature will premiere globally on the streaming service (outside of Japan) on June 3.

Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon was originally created by Naoko Takeuchi. The Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal The Movie is directed by Chiaki Kon (The Way of the Househusband, Nodame Cantabile: Paris Edition & Finale).
The two-part film features music by Yasuharu Takanashi (Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Crystal, Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Crystal Season III), with Kazuko Tadano (Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon, Yu-Gi-Oh! Sevens) responsible for character designs and TOEI Animation / Studio DEEN for animation production.
Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal The Movie Part 1 & Part 2 feature the voices of Stephanie Sheh as Usagi Tsukino/Sailor Moon, Kate Higgins as Ami Mizuno/Sailor Mercury, Cristina Vee as Rei Hino/Sailor Mars, Amanda C. Miller as Makoto Kino/Sailor Jupiter, Cherami Leigh as Minako Aino/Sailor Venus, and Sandy Fox is Chibi-Usa / Sailor Chibi Moon.
Also on board are Veronica Taylor as Setsuna Meioh/Sailor Pluto, Erica Mendez as Haruka Tenoh/Sailor Uranus, Lauren Landa as Michiru Kaioh/Sailor Neptune, Christine Marie Cabanos as Hotaru Tomoe/Sailor Saturn, Robbie Daymond as Mamoru Chiba/Tuxedo Mask, Michelle Ruff as Luna, Johnny Yong Bosch as Artemis, and Deby Dayberry as Diana.
First serialized in Kodansha’s manga magazine Nakayosi in December 1991, the stories of Sailor Moon and the Sailor Guardians fighting for love and justice have captivated audiences all over the world.
From a hit TV series in the ’90s that was broadcast in more than 40 countries to more than 30 million sold copies worldwide of the original manga, Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon has established herself as an iconic character like no other, standing the test of time with a loyal fanbase across the globe.

The theme of the upcoming movies is “Dreams.” Based on the “Dream Arc” of the original hit manga series, the story is about the Sailor Guardians’ growth, both as teenage girls and as Sailor Guardians, as well as the faint first love of Chibi-Usa and Helios. Guided by the light of the moon, we meet again with Sailor Moon.

The upcoming adventures are set in April, when the cherry blossoms are in bloom and Tokyo is in a festive mood as it celebrates the largest Total Solar Eclipse of the century. As the new moon obscures the sun and gradually dims its light, Usagi and Chibi-Usa encounter Pegasus, who is in search of the chosen Maiden who can break the seal of the Golden Crystal.
Meanwhile, a mysterious troupe called the Dead Moon Circus appears in town who’s nefarious plan is to scatter the nightmare incarnations known as Lemures, seize the Legendary Silver Crystal, rule over the moon and the earth, and eventually dominate the entire universe…
