Phoebe Waller-Bridge Exits Amazon’s Mr. & Mrs. Smith

Phoebe Waller-Bridge will no longer star opposite Donald Glover in Amazon Prime Video’s series adaptation of the 2005 movie, Mr. & Mrs. Smith. The news comes to us from The Hollywood Reporter, which says that the Fleabag Emmy winner had a different creative vision for the series than Glover did.

The trade adds that Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Glover remain friends and the split was amicable. Waller-Bridge and Glover previously starred together in Solo: A Star Wars Story.
