The Terrifying Pennywise Hot Toys Figure from IT Chapter Two

The 1/6th scale Pennywise Hot Toys collectible figure has been revealed and is just as terrifying as the movie version. Sideshow is now taking pre-orders of the Pennywise Hot Toys figure, estimated to be released in February or March 2021.

The movie-accurate figure is masterfully crafted based on Bill Skarsgård’s portrayal of Pennywise in IT Chapter Two, features two newly-developed head sculpts with incredible likeness and demonic yellow eyes, including a smiling head sculpt and a fanged head sculpt revealing layers of pointed teeth, signature grey-white outfit with sophisticated tailoring and ruffle detailing. An array of accessories include the infamous red balloon, a creepy Pennywise Jack-in-the-Box, a sculpted paper boat, a skateboard, a right severed arm, and a specially-designed sewer grate diorama dynamic figure base encapsulating the scene of unhallowed horror within.

The collectible figure has over 30 points of articulation and is about 12.79 inches tall. It comes with 11 pieces of interchangeable hands in white colored gloves, including: one pair of claw attacking hands; one  pair of grabbing hands; one pair of fists; one balloon holding right hand; and four gesture hands. The costume includes: one grey white-colored puffed sleeve shirt with lace collar, layered wrist wrap, attached belt with weathering effects; one pair of grey-white pants with weathering effects; and one pair of black and white-colored boots.

Evil resurfaces in Derry as director Andy Muschietti reunites the Losers Club — young and adult — in a return to where it all began with IT Chapter Two. The film is Muschietti’s follow-up to 2017’s critically-acclaimed and massive worldwide box office hit IT, which grossed over $700 million globally. Both redefining and transcending the genre, IT became part of the cultural zeitgeist as well as the highest-grossing horror film of all time.

Because every 27 years evil revisits the town of Derry, Maine, IT Chapter Two brings the characters — who’ve long since gone their separate ways — back together as adults, nearly three decades after the events of the first film. James McAvoy stars as Bill, Oscar nominee Jessica Chastain (Zero Dark Thirty) as Beverly, Bill Hader as Richie, Isaiah Mustafa as Mike, Jay Ryan as Ben, James Ransone as Eddie, and Bill Skarsgård returning in the seminal role of Pennywise.

Andy Bean plays Stanley, and reprising their roles as the original members of the Losers Club are Jaeden Martell as Bill, Wyatt Oleff as Stanley, Sophia Lillis as Beverly, Finn Wolfhard as Richie, Jeremy Ray Taylor as Ben, Chosen Jacobs as Mike, and Jack Dylan Grazer as Eddie.

Muschietti directs from a screenplay by Gary Dauberman (IT) based on the novel by Stephen King. Barbara Muschietti, Dan Lin and Roy Lee are producing the film. Marty Ewing, Seth Grahame-Smith and David Katzenberg are the executive producers.

The film is rated R for “disturbing violent content and bloody images throughout, pervasive language, and somecrude sexual material.”
