Hulu has revealed the official trailer and key art for Pam & Tommy, the limited series premiering with three episodes on February 2, 2022. New episodes will stream weekly.
Stolen from the couple’s home by a disgruntled contractor (Seth Rogen), the video went from underground bootleg-VHS curiosity to full-blown global sensation when it hit the Web in 1997.
A love story, crime caper and cautionary tale rolled into one, the eight-part original limited series explores the intersection of privacy, technology and celebrity, tracing the origins of our current Reality TV Era to a stolen tape seen by millions but meant to have an audience of just two.
The Pam & Tommy cast includes Lily James, Sebastian Stan, Seth Rogen, Nick Offerman, Taylor Schilling, Andrew Dice Clay, Pepi Sonuga, Spenser Granese, and Mozhan Marnò.
The series is directed by Craig Gillespie, who also executive produces with writers and co-showrunners Robert Siegel and DV DeVincentis.
Also executive producing are Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, and Alex McAtee of Point Grey; and Megan Ellison, Sue Naegle, and Ali Krug of Annapurna.
The executive producers are rounded out by Chip Vucelich, Dylan Sellers, Sarah Gubbins, and Dave Franco.
Sebastian Stan is most known for playing Bucky Barnes/The Winter Soldier in multiple Marvel Studios films. He can currently be seen as the character in Disney+ series The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. His credits also include The Martian and I, Tonya.
Craig Gillespie previously teamed with Stan on I, Tonya and recently directed Cruella.
His credits also include Lars and the Real Girl, Fright Night, The Finest Hours and United States of Tara.
