Sony Pictures has brought online the first Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood clip featuring Leonardo DiCaprio as Rick Dalton, Brad Pitt as Cliff Booth, and Kurt Russell as Randy. The Quentin Tarantino film has also been rated R by the MPAA for “language throughout, some strong graphic violence, drug use, and sexual references.”
Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood visits 1969 Los Angeles, where everything is changing, as TV star Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio) and his longtime stunt double Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt) make their way around an industry they hardly recognize anymore. The ninth film from the writer-director features a large ensemble cast and multiple storylines in a tribute to the final moments of Hollywood’s golden age.
Margot Robbie plays Sharon Tate, who was an actress and model married to Roman Polanski, her director and co-star in 1967’s The Fearless Vampire Killers. On August 9, 1969, Tate and four others were murdered by members of the Manson Family in the home she shared with Polanski. At the time of her death, she was eight-and-a-half months pregnant with the couple’s son.
Dakota Fanning, James Marsden, Clifton Collins Jr., Timothy Olyphant, Emile Hirsch, Scoot McNairy, Damian Lewis, Burt Reynolds, Michael Madsen, Tim Roth, Luke Perry, Keith Jefferson, and Nicholas Hammond also star.
