New WandaVision Footage Revealed in Promo!

The first three episodes of the popular Disney+ series have mostly been set in the sitcom world of Westview, where Wanda and Vision have moved to, but we have gotten hints that there is more at play.

In the new WandaVision footage, we get a look at Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) before she enters the energy field of Westview, where she is known as Geraldine. Monica and Randall Park’s Jimmy Woo from Ant-Man and The Wasp are both seen wearing S.W.O.R.D. jackets, confirming they work for the organization.

The WandaVision footage also gives us a first look at the return of Kat Dennings’ return as Darcy Lewis, a character she previously played in Thor and Thor: The Dark World!

WandaVision, the first Marvel Studios series created exclusively for Disney+, stars Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff, Paul Bettany as Vision, Kathryn Hahn as Agnes, and Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, who was introduced to audiences in Captain Marvel.

Marvel Studios’ WandaVision is a blend of classic television and the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff and Vision — two super-powered beings living idealized suburban lives — begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems.

The series is directed by Matt Shakman with Jac Schaeffer as head writer.

The composer is Christophe Beck, and theme (for certain episodes) is by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. Featuring nine episodes, WandaVision kicked off on Disney+ January 15, 2021.

Marvel Studios recently shared plans for the expansion and future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, revealing details about upcoming content for Disney+.

Three new series for Disney+ were revealed, including the Samuel L. Jackson-starrer Secret Invasion, Ironheart with Dominique Thorne as a genius inventor, and Armor Wars, starring Don Cheadle as James Rhodes aka War Machine who faces Tony Stark’s worst fears.

These will join the studios robust lineup of Disney+ titles including WandaVision, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, and Loki.

Also coming are the animated series What If…?; Ms. Marvel; Hawkeye, with Hailee Steinfeld joining Jeremy Renner in the series; She-Hulk, starring Tatiana Maslany in the title role alongside co-stars Mark Ruffalo and Tim Roth; and Moon Knight.

Rounding out the Disney+ announcements were the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special and a series of original shorts, I Am Groot, featuring everyone’s favorite baby tree.
