New Trailer for Kate, Starring Mary Elizabeth Winstead

Netflix today released a brand new trailer for their upcoming film Kate, starring Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Woody Harrelson. You can check out the new trailer in the player below and you’ll find the new poster underneath.

In the film, Kate is meticulous and preternaturally skilled, the perfect specimen of a finely-tuned assassin at the height of her game.

But when she uncharacteristically blows an assignment targeting a member of the yakuza in Tokyo, she quickly discovers she’s been poisoned, a brutally-slow execution that gives her less than 24 hours to exact revenge on her killers.

As her body swiftly deteriorates, Kate forms an unlikely bond with the teenage daughter of one of her past victims.

Starring Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Woody Harrelson, and directed by Cedric Nicolas-Troyan, Kate follows a burned assassin’s furious pursuit of one last self-appointed job.

Kate will hit theaters and the streaming service on September 10, 2021.

The film is written by Umair Aleem and produced by Bryan Unkeless, Kelly McCormick and Patrick Newall.

The cast also includes Tadanobu Asano, Miyavi, Michiel Huisman, introducing Miku Martineau, and Jun Kunimura.

Winstead recently appeared in the DC/Warner Bros. Pictures film Birds of Prey as Helena Bertinelli / The Huntress alongside Margot Robbie. She’s also known for playing Ramona Flowers in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World and Nikki Swango in the TV series Fargo.

Harrelson is known for playing Tallahassee in the Zombieland films, Beckett in Solo: A Star Wars Story, Haymitch Abernathy in the Hunger Games movies and Larry Flint in The People vs. Larry Flint. He’ll next be seen in Venom: Let There Be Carnage.
