We’ve already seen one teaser, but now we’re getting some real footage in a second teaser trailer for The Romanoffs, Matthew Weiner’s new series debuting on Amazon Prime Video on Friday, October 12.
Amazon Original Series The Romanoffs, created, written, directed and executive produced by nine-time Emmy award winner Matthew Weiner (Mad Men), is a one-hour contemporary anthology series set around the globe featuring separate stories about people who believe themselves to be descendants of the Russian royal family.
The large cast includes Diane Lane, Isabelle Huppert, Marthe Keller, Aaron Eckhart, Marthe Keller, Christina Hendricks, John Slattery, Jack Huston, Amanda Peet, Corey Stoll, Andrew Rannells, Mike Doyle, JJ Feild, Janet Montgomery, Paul Reiser, Noah Wyle, Kathryn Hahn, Kerry Bishé, Jay R. Ferguson, Ben Miles, Mary Kay Place, Griffin Dunne, Cara Buono, Ron Livingston, Jon Tenney, Clea DuVall, Radha Mitchell, Hugh Skinner, Juan Pablo Castañeda, Emily Rudd, Adele Anderson, Annet Mahendru, Louise Bourgoin, Hera Hilmar, and Inès Melab.
The series is also executive produced and written by Semi Chellas (Mad Men). Kriss Turner Towner (The Bernie Mac Show), Blake McCormick (Mad Men), and Kathy Ciric (Z: The Beginning of Everything) co-executive produce.
