The New Swamp Thing Trailer Has All Kinds of Awful Things

Following the creepy teaser, promo, and recent preview, DC Universe has now brought online a Swamp Thing trailer that has some disturbing new footage. The series will premiere on the streaming service on May 31st.

Swamp Thing follows Abby Arcane as she investigates what seems to be a deadly swamp-born virus in a small town in Louisiana but soon discovers that the swamp holds mystical and terrifying secrets. When unexplainable and chilling horrors emerge from the murky marsh, no one is safe.

The series also stars Virginia Madsen, Andy Bean, Henderson Wade, Derek Mears, Maria Sten, Jeryl Prescott, Ian Ziering, with Jennifer Beals and Will Patton, and a special appearance by Kevin Durand.

Swamp Thing is based on the DC characters originally written and drawn by Len Wein and Bernie Wrightson.

James Wan, Mark Verheiden, Gary Dauberman, Michael Clear and Len Wiseman are executive producers of Swamp Thing. Rob Hackett is co-producer. The series is produced by Atomic Monster in association with Warner Bros. Television. Verheiden and Dauberman wrote the first episode, which was directed by Len Wiseman.
