Tremble at the Official New Suspiria Trailer

Amazon Studios has released the new Suspiria trailer! The film is a remake of Dario Argento’s 1977 supernatural horror film.

In the Luca Guadagnino-directed film, a darkness swirls at the center of a world-renowned dance company, one that will engulf the troupe’s artistic director (Tilda Swinton), an ambitious young dancer (Dakota Johnson), and a grieving psychotherapist (Lutz Ebersdorf). Some will succumb to the nightmare. Others will finally wake up.

“She takes the place of a dance student who has recently disappeared and immediately becomes one of the top dancers in the academy,” Johnson previously told EW. Her character, Susie, develops an “intense and beautiful” student-teacher relationship with Swinton’s director, “and then you discover that the dance academy is run by witches!”

Suspiria also stars Mia Goth, Jessica Harper, Chloë Grace Moretz, and Sylvie Testud. The script was written by David Kajganich.

Suspiria will open in New York and Los Angeles on October 26 and nationwide on November 2.
