MGM Studios and United Artists Releasing have released new photos of Ana de Armas (Knives Out) as Paloma in No Time to Die, the anticipated 25th James Bond movie. The photos were released to promote that Paloma is wearing Chopard diamonds in the film.
Paloma is a CIA agent assisting James Bond. The actress has previously described her character as “irresponsible” and “bubbly” and that she plays a key role in Bond’s mission.
In No Time to Die, Bond (Daniel Craig) has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help.
The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.
No Time to Die stars Daniel Craig, Rami Malek, Léa Seydoux, Lashana Lynch, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris, with Jeffrey Wright, and Ralph Fiennes as “M.” In addition to Ana de Armas, the film also stars Rory Kinnear, Dali Benssalah, David Dencik, and Billy Magnussen.
The movie, from Albert R. Broccoli’s EON Productions, Metro Goldwyn Mayer Studios (MGM), and Universal Pictures International, is directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga (Beasts of No Nation, True Detective). Daniel Craig is returning for his fifth film as Ian Fleming’s James Bond 007.
The film was written by Neal Purvis & Robert Wade (SPECTRE, Skyfall), Cary Joji Fukunaga, Scott Z. Burns (Contagion, The Bourne Ultimatum) and Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Killing Eve, Fleabag).
Billie Eilish will sing the No Time to Die theme song. The 18-year-old artist has written the song with her brother, Finneas. Billie is the youngest artist in history to write and record a James Bond theme song.
Hans Zimmer will compose the score for the James Bond movie. Director Cary Joji Fukunaga previously said: “I’m beyond excited that Hans is scoring No Time to Die. The music of Bond has always been iconic and I’ve already witnessed Hans adding his touch of genius to the Bond legacy.”
No Time to Die will be released globally from April 2, 2020 in the U.K. through Universal Pictures International and in the U.S on April 10, from Metro Goldwyn Mayer Studios via their United Artists Releasing banner.
