The New Free Guy Trailer Has Arrived!

-

Disney’s 20th Century Studios has revealed the new Free Guy trailer, which shows that the studio is still targeting a December 11, 2020 release! The studio has also brought online a video in which the cast makes up alternate release dates for the film, just in case.

Free Guy stars Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool films), Jodie Comer (Killing Eve), Joe Keery (Stranger Things), Lil Rel Howery (Get Out), Utkarsh Ambudkar, and Taika Waititi (upcoming Thor: Love and Thunder).

In the epic adventure-comedy, a bank teller discovers he is actually a background player in an open-world video game. He decides to become the hero of his own story… one he rewrites himself.

Now in a world where there are no limits, he is determined to be the guy who saves his world his way… before it is too late.

Free Guy is directed by Shawn Levy (Night at the Museum films, Real Steel) from a story by Matt Lieberman and a screenplay by Lieberman and Zak Penn.

The film is produced by Ryan Reynolds, Shawn Levy, Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter and Adam Kolbrenner with Mary McLaglen, Josh McLaglen, George Dewey, Dan Levine and Michael Riley McGrath serving as executive producers.

Free Guy was previously scheduled for a July 3, 2020 release but was pushed back to December 11, 2020 due to theaters closing.

You can watch the new Free Guy trailer and tease below! In case you missed them, you can still watch the previously-released videos underneath. We’ve also included the new poster and more photos from the film.
