New Footage Revealed in the Bumblebee Review Spot

It's the best-reviewed movie this week!

It’s a big week for movies, with three more wide releases entering the fray. Getting the best reactions from the critics, however, is a new Tranformers film (surprise!) that is currently sitting pretty with a 98% score at Rotten Tomatoes. To celebrate, Paramount Pictures has debuted this Bumblebee review spot, which includes new footage and some quotes. You can watch all the previously-released videos for the film by clicking here.

Bumblebee takes place in the year 1987, where, on the run, Bumblebee finds refuge in a junkyard in a small Californian beach town. Charlie (Hailee Steinfeld), on the cusp of turning 18 and trying to find her place in the world, discovers Bumblebee, battle-scarred and broken. When Charlie revives him, she quickly learns this is no ordinary, yellow VW bug.

In addition to Steinfeld, the film stars John Cena, Jorge Lendeborg Jr., John Ortiz, Jason Drucker, Pamela Adlon, and Stephen Schneider. It was recently announced that Bumblebee will be voiced by Dylan O’Brien in the film.

Directed by Travis Knight from a script by Christina Hodson and Kelly Fremon Craig, film’s producers are Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Tom DeSanto & Don Murphy, and Michael Bay, and the executive producers are Steven Spielberg, Brian Goldner, Mark Vahradian, and Chris Brigham.

Bumblebee will open in theaters this Thursday evening.
