Netflix has started production on the psychological thriller Rattlesnake, written and directed by Zak Hilditch (1922, These Final Hours).
In the film, when a single mother accepts the help of a mysterious woman after her daughter is bitten by a rattlesnake, she finds herself forced to pay back her “debt” by taking the life of a total stranger in the rural town of Tulia, Texas.
The Rattlesnake cast includes Carmen Ejogo (Selma, Roman J. Israel, Esq., Fantastic Beasts franchise, True Detective Season 3), Theo Rossi (Sons of Anarchy, Luke Cage, Lowriders), and Emma Greenwell (Shameless, Love & Friendship, The Rock).
Ross Dinerstein (1922, The Package, 6 Balloons) is producing the film, which comes from Campfire. A film and television production company, Campire produces across all genres and mediums. Recent projects include the Netflix Originals Rebirth, Clinical, 1992, 6 Balloons, and The Package.
