Following the Netflix Series, Netflix Movies, and Netflix Animation days, the streaming service’s Geeked Week event wrapped up today with a look at the upcoming Netflix games and adaptations.
Hosts Geoff Keighley and Mari Takahashi closed the virtual event on Friday with a slew of news and first looks at Netflix games and game-inspired series like Dragon Age: Absolution, The Cuphead Show!, and Sonic Prime, and new mobile games.
Learn about new releases like Poinpy and get ready to step into the world of your favorite Netflix series and films with games such as La Casa de Papel and The Queen’s Gambit Chess.
NETFLIX GAMES AND ADAPTATIONS
DRAGON AGE: ABSOLUTION
Netflix and BioWare confirmed that the all-new animated series Dragon Age: Absolution will debut on Netflix this December. Created in collaboration with BioWare, Dragon Age: Absolution is set in Tevinter and features an ensemble of new characters inspired by Dragon Age lore, including elves, mages, knights, Qunari, Red Templars, demons, and other special surprises.
Since debuting in 2009, the award-winning video game franchise has brought players into the world of Thedas with rich stories, unforgettable characters, and beautiful and deadly locales to discover. The next upcoming Dragon Age game, Dragon Age: Dreadwolf, will be a single-player-focused experience that further builds on this incredible adventure.
TEKKEN: BLOODLINE
The iconic Japanese fighting game franchise is getting the anime treatment! Hear from Chief Producer Katsuhiro Harada as he introduces never-before-seen exclusive clips from the series and touches on the background of a fan-favorite character.
SHADOW AND BONE: DESTINIES
Straight from the Fold comes a new mobile game based on the fan-favorite series Shadow and Bone. Get a first look at this single-player RPG, where you can step into the shoes of your favorite characters and journey across the world of the Grishaverse.
TOO HOT TO HANDLE
Swipe left on this sneak peek from the upcoming mobile game based on the Netflix series Too Hot to Handle and get ready to meet and mingle with a whole new cast of sexy singles vying for your affection.
LA CASA DE PAPEL
It’s not all relaxation and romance. Netflix has unveiled a single-player action-adventure game based on the hit series La Casa de Papel, in which players crack safes, pick locks, and help rob a casino in Monaco – all to help an old friend of the Professor’s. Watch the short preview here.

The tables have turned, and now you get to take part in the ultimate game of chess.
