Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem Trailer Debuts

Paramount Pictures, Nickelodeon Movies and Point Grey Productions have revealed the official trailer for CG-animated theatrical film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, opening in theaters on August 2, 2023.

In the film, after years of being sheltered from the human world, the Turtle brothers set out to win the hearts of New Yorkers and be accepted as normal teenagers through heroic acts.

Their new friend April O’Neil helps them take on a mysterious crime syndicate, but they soon get in over their heads when an army of mutants is unleashed upon them.

The voice cast includes Micah Abbey, Shamon Brown Jr., Hannibal Buress, Rose Byrne, Nicolas Cantu, John Cena, Jackie Chan, and Ice Cube.

The cast also includes Natasia Demetriou, Ayo Edebiri, Giancarlo Esposito, Post Malone, Brady Noon, Seth Rogen, Paul Rudd, and Maya Rudolph.

Directed by Jeff Rowe and co-directed by Kyler Spears, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem was written by Seth Rogen & Evan Goldberg & Jeff Rowe and Dan Hernandez & Benji Samit.

It is produced by Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, and James Weaver. The executive producers include Ramsay McBean and Josh Fagen.

Considered one of the most popular kids’ franchises, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is a classic, global property created in 1984 by Peter Laird and Kevin Eastman.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles first debuted as a successful comic book series and then became a hit animated TV show, a live-action television series and later spawned numerous blockbuster theatrical releases.

The property is a global consumer products (buy TMNT products now at Amazon) powerhouse, winning in every category that has hit shelves to date — with toys, apparel, video games, DVDs and more — and generating billions of dollars at retail.

Nickelodeon brought the franchise to life again in 2012 with the CG-animated series Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and then reimagined the Heroes in a Half-Shell with the 2D-animated series Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in 2019.
