Marvel Studios president and Marvel Chief Creative Officer Kevin Feige sat down to talk with The Hollywood Reporter‘s Awards Chatter podcast and revealed that characters such Moon Knight, Ms. Marvel and She-Hulk will appear in Marvel Cinematic Universe movies following their Disney+ debuts.
“Some characters like we’ve announced, She-Hulk, Ms. Marvel, and Moon Knight, you will meet for the first time on a Disney+ show and then they’ll go into the movies but the MCU will now go back and forth,” Feige said.
The reveal comes following recent reports from THR‘s Heat Vision that Jeremy Slater and Jessica Gao are attached as head writers for Moon Knight and She-Hulk, respectively. British writer Bisha K. Ali is working on Ms. Marvel.
“We are certainly doing cinematic art-level productions for Disney+,” Feige added. “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier is currently shooting and just yesterday got back from the set of WandaVision, which is shooting. All of those characters will undergo transformative, I hope very-exciting changes in that show and then go into our movies, so they’ll go back and forth.”
It was also previously reported that the Loki series on Disney+ will tie into the feature Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
Marvel Studios has not revealed when the Moon Knight, Ms. Marvel and She-Hulk series will be arriving on Disney+. We know that Falcon and The Winter Soldier is coming in the fall of 2020, Loki and WandaVision are scheduled for the spring of 2021, the What If…? animated series is coming in the summer of 2021, and the Hawkeye launces in the fall of 2021.
