Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD Season 7 Episode 2 First Look

-

ABC Studios and Marvel Television have released a first look at Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD Season 7 Episode 2 in the form of a promo and 11 photos. Titled “Know Your Onions,” the episode will premiere on Wednesday, June 3 at 10/9c on ABC.

The synopsis for Agents of SHIELD Season 7 Episode 2 goes as follows: “With the identity of the timeline-unraveling ‘thread’ revealed, the team’s mission to protect him at all costs leads each agent to question their own values. Is preserving the future of the world as they know it worth the destruction they could prevent?”

ELIZABETH HENSTRIDGE

In the final season, Agent Phil Coulson and the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. are thrust backward in time and stranded in 1931 New York City. With the all-new Zephyr set to time-jump at any moment, the team must hurry to find out exactly what happened. If they fail, it would mean disaster for the past, present and future of the world.

Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD Season 7 stars Clark Gregg as Agent Phil Coulson, Ming-Na Wen as Agent Melinda May, Chloe Bennet as Daisy Johnson, Elizabeth Henstridge as Agent Jemma Simmons, Iain De Caestecker as Agent Leopold Fitz, Henry Simmons as Director Alphonso “Mack” MacKenzie, Natalia Cordova-Buckley as Elena “Yo-Yo” Rodriguez and Jeff Ward as Deke Shaw.

Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD was co-created by Joss Whedon, Jed Whedon & Maurissa Tancharoen, who also serve as executive producers along with Jeffrey Bell and Jeph Loeb.

Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD ranked as the No. 1 program in Friday’s 8 p.m. hour last summer among Adults 18-49 and improved in its new time period by 14% over the comparable weeks the summer before to stand as ABC’s highest-rated series in the slot in 3 years – since summer 2016.

TOBIAS JELINEK

“Agent Coulson is one of the most beloved cinematic heroes of our time, and we’re so glad to have spent seven seasons with him and the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents as they saved the world from countless unimaginable big bads,” said Karey Burke, president, ABC Entertainment previously.

“I am so impressed with the eternally fresh, heart-pounding, and emotional stories the writers and creative team at Marvel Television brought to life that led ‘S.H.I.E.L.D.’ to be the longest-running Marvel series to date.”

CHLOE BENNET

“It will be bittersweet saying goodbye to Marvel Television’s flagship series,” said Jeph Loeb, executive producer and Marvel’s head of Television. “Our success is a true testament to the extraordinary fans and we remain forever indebted to them for their endless support. We want to end on a very high note and complete the incredible saga after seven amazing seasons and 136 hours of quality television.”
