The movie is based on the book Luckiest Girl Alive (See on Amazon) by Jessica Knoll.

Luckiest Girl Alive centers on Ani FaNelli, a sharp-tongued New Yorker who appears to have it all: a sought-after position at a glossy magazine, a killer wardrobe, and a dream Nantucket wedding on the horizon.

But when the director of a crime documentary invites her to tell her side of the shocking incident that took place when she was a teenager at the prestigious Brentley School, Ani is forced to confront a dark truth that threatens to unravel her meticulously crafted life.

Writing the script is book author Knoll, and Mike Barker directs the film. The producers include Bruna Papandrea, Jeanne Snow, Erik Feig, Lucy Kitada, and Mila Kunis.

The executive producers include Jessica Knoll, Lisa Sterbakov, Shayne Fiske Goldner, Steve Hutensky, and Mike Barker.

The book is officially described as follows: “As a teenager at the prestigious Bradley School, Ani FaNelli endured a shocking, public humiliation that left her desperate to reinvent herself.

“Now, with a glamorous job, expensive wardrobe, and handsome blue blood fiancé, she’s this close to living the perfect life she’s worked so hard to achieve.
