Apple TV+ has unveiled the trailer for season two of its BAFTA, Independent Spirit, NAACP Image, and GLAAD Media Award-nominated anthology series, Little America. The streaming service is also giving us a first look at a Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock holiday special.
Created by Emmy Award nominee Lee Eisenberg and Academy Award winner Siân Heder, Little America is a critically acclaimed series that garnered a 95% Fresh Rotten Tomatoes score during its freshman season run.
The second season of the series will launch with eight brand-new, inspiring stories on Friday, December 9, on Apple TV+. Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, produces the series for Apple TV+.
Little America is influenced by true stories featured in Vox Media’s Epic Magazine and aims to share and celebrate the funny, romantic, heartfelt, inspiring, and surprising stories of immigrants from all over the world living in America.
Inspired by real stories of immigrants from around the world who are pursuing their American dream, the second season of Little America will feature performances from Phylicia Rashad, Alan S. Kim, Ki Hong Lee, and more.
In addition to Eisenberg and Heder, the show’s executive producers include Kumail Nanjiani, Emily V. Gordon, Alan Yang, Natalie Sandy, Epic Magazine‘s Joshuah Bearman, Joshua Davis, and Arthur Spector.
Apple TV+ also revealed the trailer for the Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock “Night of the Lights” holiday special, which will premiere globally on Friday, November 18.

It’s the Night of the Lights, the most Fraggily holiday of the year, and the Rock is filled with songs and cheer.
When Jamdolin (voiced by Emmy Award nominee Daveed Diggs) encourages Wembley to make a special wish, the Fraggles head out on an adventure to find the brightest light and, maybe, the true meaning of the holiday.

In addition to Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock, Apple’s partnership with The Jim Henson Company includes Harriet The Spy, the first animated adaptation of the iconic children’s novel; Slumberkins, the mixed-media puppet/2D animation program that premiered November 4th; and the popular Fraggle Rock: Rock On! shorts.
Apple TV+ is also the streaming destination for the original 1980s Fraggle Rock series, as well as recently-added bonus specials, Down at Fraggle Rock, Doozer Music, and Fraggle Songs, all of which are now streaming.
